It shouldn't.

Yes. The new dye is going to react to the color you currently have. The lighter parts will not be as brown than the other parts of your hair UNLESS, you leave the color on your hair longer.

nope the highlighted part will be a different shade

I had blonde highlights for a while and I hated them too. I dyed my hair dark brown and it looks great. Over time the sun might bring out the highlights as a light brown color, but it will look natural. I would dye it if I were you.

Dye uneven blonde hair brown.?

if you do it yourself it probably will

you will have to buy a lot of boxes of hair color

to make sure all of the color will penetrate the hair

you might want to color it after you wash your hair and towel dry it very well.. then put the color on it all over

as directed

go to a stylist for hair corrections.. it will probably cost you about the same as doing it yourself without the mess

Two stories;

My niece had dark brown hair with blond highlights. We dyed her hair dark brown and her highlights were only slightly lighter. It looked good.

I had highlights and gray for years. I got tired of it all and got it all cut off, so I had some blond tips and my natural hair. Women kept asking me how I got it to look like that and what colors I used.

If you want long hair, dye it one shade darker. If you want short hair, just cut it all off and don't worry about it.

You can always color it later.

Hello there!

The problem with putting brown on blonde is that you always run the risk of whatever was blonde turning green. Make sure whatever shade you pick you make it is a WARM color.

The lighter pieces will probably be a different shade depending on how dark you go. If you go dark enough and pick the right shade, it could just look like your hair is very dimensional and healthy because no one's hair is just one solid color!

Good luck!
