Dyeing blonde hair brown?

i want to change my hair but im not sure wheather to go brown or stay blonde? my roots are really bad when blonde, but my mates say that if i go brown it'll look plane and plus boys like blonde girls the best. Can anyone help me?

putting bown home colour over blonde hair tends to make it go green.

i have natural blonde hair... and i have baby blue eyes i dyed it black to make my eyes pop. andd i wanted to go back to my natural color and bleaching kits just make it orange... so my advice to you.. is be sure about it! no one wants orange hair... when u try to lighten dark hair normally it turns orange

I have naturally blond hair and I always dye my brown. You really need to see how it will go with your face tone. You can use a make over site with your picture like this one http://www.makeoversolutions.com/ and even though some of the pics look kind of goofy you can get a general idea on how brown hair will look on you. Also, you would be surprise how many guys like girls with dark hair. Hope this helps.

firstly it dosnt matter on your hair colour, guys will not like you better if you brown or blode. get the idea out of your head. if your skin is pale and freckly then a medium brown will suit you. if your skin colour is more dark and no freckles. go for a choclate brown. good luck x

I'm a blonde who really wants to go brown too and I'm worried about when my roots come through, as they'll look really light (I don't know what shade of brown you want to go, but I want to go really dark), and my hubby is a natural strawberry blond and he regularly dyes his hair black/brown and although it really suits him and he looks sexier than his natural colour, he has to really keep on top of it because his roots are light.

My friend, Chloe is a natural blonde and has to dye her hair every couple of weeks because she dyes her hair mid-brown, but it looks so amazing!

People think being blonde is easy but it's not - I find my hair has gone from a natural white-blonde to a horrid ash blonde and I have to use pre-lightener every month to get my white-blonde back, otherwise my roots look really dark :S

i would suggest dying your hair brown with a semi permanent hair colour so if u dont like it ..it will wash out after a few washes

but if u do get along with it and like it...i wud either get it done at a salon or if you do it at home you need to put a semi permanent red colour over ur blonde hair then the brown dye on top of that at the same time as this will stop it going green as u will b addin the correct pigments into ur hair to get a nice brown result
