I dyed my hair brown and black, but i want my hair back to blonde!?

ok, my original hair color is dirty blonde.

i dyed it brown and black a while ago and i want it back to it's original state. i heard that just dying it blonde wont turn up very nicely since my hair is dyed dark. do i bleach it and then dye it? what do i do?

yeah, you have to bleach it then dye it.

if you don't, the color will come out orangy-red.

trust me on this, my mom has been a hair stylist for many years.

so first bleach the dark hair, and then chose the original color you wanted (the dirty blonde)

and then you can dye it.

after you bleach it, i'd wait a day or two before dying it though.

the color will damage it no matter what, but spreading it out over a day or so might minimalize the damage.

ask your stylist she will have a better answer than me...but bleaching your hair and dying it again will cause you hair to damage

Black dye is the worst to work on, you can never get rid of it and if you want to dye it , it turns a weird brown. That's why I recommend that people never dye their hair black. If it's not your natural color, it doesn't look good on you, it's too harsh.
