i colored my hair permanent-blk then few months later i put in highlights.Is there any way to make my hair brown ,because when i try coloring my permanent-blk hair to a light color(brown), it doesnt wrk!...but then highlights did help and little but i still want my hair to be all brown..help!=(

ps.is there any way i can do it without going to the salon??

You can get products that actually take the dye out of your hair. However, why don't you bleach it for a bit?

You can shampoo your hair with dawn dish liquid...it will lightin it up a little....but go to your local sally beauty supply store and ask for zap color remover then redie your hair the brown u want.

Ask a beautician or someone that works at a beauty store. They should know exactly what to do. You don't want your hair to fall out.

I remember it took Christina Milian many applications to turn her hair from black to blonde. If you look at some of her past pictures you can see her struggle.

use head and sholders!!!!! it sounds crazy but trust me. it's a huge thing in the salon im apprenticing in. its actually not good for dandruff, it just cakes it onto your scalp. so go out and buy some head and sholders and when your in the shower take a bunch and put it all over your hair and leave it for a few min then was it out . . . its so harsh it'll lift your hair colour (it doesnt hurt your hair though just the colour)

dish soap wash over and over again it will strip the black out

the only way to cover black is with bleach i'd seriously go to a salon and ask if you could have it stripped...

you need to bleach you hair first. but use a good bleach powder(no so much) and mix with 3-6% of peroxide,
