Dying natural red hair brown.?

I wan't to get my naturally red hair dyed brown because I feel it will match my eyebrows better. I want to know what shade of brown I should get and I was thinking of getting blonde highlights. Does anyone have any photo's of anyone who's done this if it looks good so I can show the hair stylist.

Honestly we would need a pic of you to see what colors are in your eyes and your skin color, not a pic of someone else, as it is you who will be wearing it.

Well.. people with red hair usually have fairer skin than those with darker hair; I don't know about you though, but I think a reasonably light shade of brown should work (well, it really depends on how red your hair is).. The rule I generally follow is not to stray too far from the tone of my natural hair colour. If your hair is a "dark" red, you could opt for a darker brown; if it is a "light" red, go for a lighter brown.
