Hi guys, i have naturally fair hair. It does not take well to dark colours i still end up with fair hair hehe so i gave up trying for a bit and stayed fair. I dyed my hair recently in a salon and i really dont like it, i want to go dark brown so i have got the darkest one i could find so my hair will take well (i hope) but my friend said it is dangerous to dye your hair this soon to having the other one done(been about 2 weeks) she said it would green is this true?

well..use a hot oil treatment...then two days later leave on mayo for 2 hours..then rinse these will conditioner your hair..so the color will take better and not fry your hair

Never heard that one but a healthy way to dye hair is Henna. Get the darkest color you want, heat up the water and put it in to a paste. Put it in your hair, plastic cap it and either go into the sauna for 15-20 mins or try to keep it heated for that long. later wash and condition. set. No chemicals, 100% natural.

If I were you, I would talk with the hair colorist that did your hair at the salon. She will likely give you some tips on what to do or what colors and/or products to avoid.

Most drugstore/over the counter coloring formulas have a base tint that is greenish in color.

Darkest browns sometimes result in a blackish tint. (3 daughters and many dye jobs to relate to.) From experience, once my girls went real dark there was no going back except to the salon to get expensive color enhancements, etc.

Your stylist should be very willing to share the risks of going to a dark brown. Ask her for suggestions.

i have done that before and my hair turned out horrible. i dyed my hair back the same day. i mean it will do some damage to your hair, but if leave your hair alone after that it should be fine. i would dye it the darker color and the use hair repair products on it when you was your hair. and use a leave in conditioner. and your friend doesnt know what she is talking about your hair wont turn green. dont go to dark in might turn out black, and you really cant dye over black. you would have until the black fades to brown. i would say try a medium brown,
