Dying your hair brown??!? And Hair Stylists out there?

my hair used to be blonde and then i dyed it medium brown and i lovee it , its soo much better. but the lady dyed it semi permanant so its been fading. i wanna get it dyed again but when she puts the dye on my hair will it make it darker or will it just cover the semi permanant and cover it up? bc i DONT want it darker. you know what i mean? will it make it darker by dying it over again? or should she strip it and just do it from scratch? thanks

You can just dye it again with a permanent color of the same color. The color shouldn't change much. If it is a little darker you can use a cheap shampoo and it will fade it a bit.

If it's faded, she can probably dye it back to the color it was origionally dyed without it being that much darker.
