depending on the brand if it,s a good one then there should be no problem try doing a strand test first then you can,t go wrong

if you're another race than black, nothing will happen. but if you are black, u need to wait a while. however i would suggest getting a black rinse or semi-permanent hair color to put on your hair.... it doesnt damage your hair like permanent haircolor.

as long as you didn't use or use a loving Grey color cover ,you'll be all right . Expect it to be very dark. you could also use a 10 volume peroxide .that way there's less damage.The color only has to deposit ,so 10 volume would be best .Be sure and use a good conditioner after, also wear a hat in the sun ,and put heavy conditioner before %26amp; leave in when swimming .Shampoo after swimming.

why would you put black over the top ? black is extremely hard to get out of the hair .make sure that is what you want.at least use the same product. call your hair dresser

great news you don't need to put another perminante color in your hair since it is(brown) lighter than the color you want(black). I suggest using a semi perminate color, a rinse, tint theses terms are pretty much the same. i would use a semi permante color cause it will probably cover better w long lasting results.

My daughter did this, against my better judgement, dyed hair brown to cover light hair dye, got light brown hair, dyed dark brown again, got dark brown hair, then dyed it black,

this is the important bit, the hair went black for about 4 weeks, and is now half black and half brown. black at the front and brown at the back. "those who cant hear must feel" as me %26amp; my mum would say. funny enough, my daughter likes her two-tone head !!!

chemicals wont react even with different brands, and as long as your original hair colour isnt light you should be ok. . but you could end up with a two-tone head after a few weeks of washing.

Use a colour protecting shampoo and conditioner, that will help keep the colour in your hair longer, as ordinary shampoos wash the colour out. %26amp; make sure you deep-condition your head, because once you have done all this dyeing/chemical treating . your hair will become dry. protect when heat styling also.
