I would keep the dark color as a base and get some blond high lights put in. This will make your hair less shockingly dark and have some fun to it. I did that one time, went way to dark and all I did was add a few blondes to it and I loved it!

well i suggest that you re-dye your hair dirty blonde... other wise you are gonna be wearing Bright blues and greens, Try jewel tones, too... especially lavendar

Stay away from pastels as they will make you look even lighter. Stick with earthy tones. I agree with the highlights idea. Also use a chocolate eyeliner to accentuate your green eyes and use a peachy blush to add some color to your face.
