Is there a home dying kit that will dye brown hair to blonde?

I have dark brown hair and looking for a blonde dying kit that will actually work. Anyone know any that might? My friend found one that worked but she can't remember the brand. I've tried over the years and nothing seems to work. It's just easier and cheaper than going to a salon to get it done all time. Thanks.

I have dark brown hair too and every at-home dye kit I have tried has turned my hair a brassy orangey color...It's unfortunate but the best bet for us dark brunettes is to just shell out the $ and go to a salon to just keep getting blonde highlights put in until your hair gets to the shade you want. good luck!

well i think u should go to a hair salon and ask them what type of dye that would be good for your hair cause you don't want to get a hair dyeee that well mess up your hair trust me i died my hair dark red and my normal hair color is sandy brown and the type of dy i had got had broke my hair off so i cut it a little and washed the dy out and never dyeed it again and i never will unless i find a dy brand that wont damage my hair so.
