My hazel eyes change color and my skin tone is cool or neutral and pretty light. I do have freckles though, but not alot. I tried dying my hair red a few years ago and it was horrible. It turned clown red. I wanted to try red though because I want to bring out the green and brown in my eyes and I think my natural brown ash color washes me out. Please help.

Go for it! You may want to try a "reddish brown" color first (I like Revon High Dimension), or have a professional colorist do it if you want to go much lighter than your natural color.

Try going strawberry blonde....you have the warm reddish highlights without the garish bright clown reds.
