Whats the best way to add blonde highlights to very dark brown hair without it looking "brassy&

I would like to brighten up my dark brown hair with a bit of blonde but dont want tit to have that bleachy, cheap looking effect which drains the skin colour - i have pale skin with freckles! What should I ask for? Last time I had this hairdo done I was unhappy with the result!

Whatever you do, dont try this yourself. Go to your hair salon and ask for help. Tell her exactly what you want and how you want it to look. She should show you examples of hair and tell you what to expect.

You should not go for any color that says "Ashy" or has any red tint. this will cause the brassy look!
