Want to dye my hair brown from black?

My hair is black naturally, at the mo I have 2 different shades of brown streaks and everyone has said how nice it looks. I've wanted to dye my hair completey brown because I fancy a change as I've never changed my whole hair colour. My mum dyes her hair dark red-ish and it really suits her. The hairdresser told me if I want to dye it all brown to come in again and she'll do it. I'm not sure what kind of brown I want though. I'd love to have medium brown with lighter streaks but really not sure how this would look for me, is there any sites that let you use your face with different hair colours?? lol I have black eyebrows so would this look weird? I'm scared of looking odd. :p

i would go with a really dark brown with maybe some lighter brown and red high lights

well that could be a problem.. yopu'd have to decolour your hair and then dye it..decolouring would make it look orange-like, so lighter streaks could be difficult. I say good luck! And by the way you can ask your hair dresser to colour your eyebrows too!

First of all, have it done professionally, if you choose to do it yourself, you may end up having orange hair! (yes, it happened to me). If you have dark eyebrows, some hairdressers will dye the brows to match the new hair color. My advice, stick as close to you natural hair color by sticking with a darker brown hair color and perhaps one or two shades lighter for highlights so it will give you dimension to the new brown hair. Having dark hair myself...going to light drives me crazy because the dark roots show up more quickly than I have time to go to the salon! Good Luck!
