but before that I had dyed it burgundy and it faded out...well now that faded out color is coming back out...how can I take that color out it looks nasty!!! my highlight still look good its just the brown hair

The only way to truly get out a color is to have a professional use a color stripper. This will take your hair back to your natural shade, HOWEVER this can be very damaging to your hair depending upon how much damage has already been done from previous chemical services. There really is no way to totally remove your color while only keeping your highlights. My suggestion would be to pick a color that you want between your highlights and have a professional apply it.
