i have brown hair. its layered and i want to dye it black underneath. would this be good or bad?

I have auburn hair and I dyed the underneath of it a dark brown... with my layers it looks awesome. And it was really easy.

i think it depends on how dark your hair is.. I think it would look cool if it was a light or medium brown but if it was dark it might look weird..
