I have dark brown hair and medium brown skin, but i want to dye my hair completely jet black.

What kind of image would that portray? In your opinion?

Why change? Dark brown hair is beautiful--and it's really hard to dye your hair black and look natural. I bet you're lovely just the way you are.

I think it will look good. Just accesorize your clothes to make it stand out in a good way. I have pale skin and went black and it actually looked good

I don't really like the whole "dying your entire hair a different color" But actually dark black is a good color, especially since you already have dark brown hair. Definatley wrong if someone went from blonde to black, they are just looking for attention then.

The only people who have true black hair are Asian. On all others it looks really fake. Play up your own color with a few highlights and lowlights.

I think the brown hair would look nice on you. The black hair would be fine though. I have light-brown skin and black hair naturally and it doesn't look horrible. Depends on your eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, ears.

Personally, i don't think it would portray an "image" you are yourself, go for it.

I had dark brown hair and dyed it black, it does look good but you need to be prepared to keep it for a while! It is very difficult to strip black out of your hair.

I have done this and I love it!!! It is such an edgy look and it really makes my blue eyes stand out. I have medium brown skin too because I'm mixed but dying it black made my confidence go up!!!

Dont do it!! Unless your azn, jet black will look like a wig, or totaly fake. I tryed it, and let me tell ya, people kept calling me emo, untill i dyed it back. Now i just regret doing it in the first place. I would suggest dying your hair goldish brown or a medium brown with redish tones will look good on you. Not black!
