Does Kool-Aid powder when dying your hair come out of medium brown colored hair?

I KNOW it works so i dont want anyone telling me it doesnt i have seen it done but i want to know the differant ways of doing it. I have heard from some people that it DOES come out of brown hair and some that it DOESNT so i just want to know before i do it!

My sister and I did it as kids. My hair is dark brown. We used cherry flavor. I came out with burgundy hair. My sisters hair is light brown. Her hair ended up being pink for over a year! No kidding.

I have platinum blonde hair and i've used that trick before, yes it comes out. Just makes sure you wash it and repeat to get everything out. But...are you sure it's going to show up on your hair if it's that dark? Hope this helps. Have fun.

What????? Kool Aid! I've been doing my hair for years and never heard of this before. Good luck with this. Personally if you want brown why not get a real tint.
