Getting my hair from brown to sienna millers colour?

i have dark brown hair but want it like sienna millers,il be going to the salon but i wondered how they will do it,is it highlights or will they bleach it and put another dye on top or something?

is your hair coloured brown or natural brown? if it is coloured then they will first have to use a colour remover to remove the artificial pigment in your hair put in by the dark colour or otherwise they will NEVER get you to blonde! this will more than likely leave you at the orange stage, they will then have to put a dark blonde colour on like this: 86N dark neutral blonde: http://www.clairolprofessional.com/dispe... as sienna has a dark blonde base. you will then have to be highlighted to the pale yellow stage to get lightest blonde highlights like she has.

They will probably bleach it and either put dye over it or use a toner :]

hi ya there im a hairdrsser they will do belach hightlight and then put a toner on it. the next time u go they might put a hight lift coloure on in lol hop that helps
