I want my hair to be this color in the pic, my hair is medium dark brown...any idea how much this would cost at a walk-in salon? I would be going in stockton, california, if that helps anyone...

wow...theres a million different prices on this one. If you go to a beauty school it will be cheaper, but then you're never guaranteed anything perfect. Also, if your hair is colored right now it will take longer to bleach it out light, and will ruin your hair more. After it's bleached, they will have to tone it down because usually it will be a yellow tint. I do hair, but am not working currently. You just don't want to ruin your hair. Make sure that your hair is to a length that you don't mind cutting. Usually after bleaching your hair you will need to trim at least a couple of inches. Just call around and get some prices from salons in your area. I would try to find a more crazy hair place..not a fantastic sams or salons that are on every corner. Good luck and have fun! :)

atleasssssssst 150, + more if youre getting more streaks....its a big job to bleach....it might not come out in one shot.....then you have to do colour correction, then the pink....its a long process and expensive one too......and some salons might have an hourly rate too -- and sometime they have to do trims after bleaching cause all youre split ends, which is $$$$...................when i wanted to get extensions the hair was gonna cost me 800$, then the service was 100$/hour extra..
